Peterson dissects the Peter Pan story:
- Who the hell wants to grow up to be a Hook? First, you have a hook. Second, you are a Tyrant. And third you are chased by a dragon of chaos with a clock in its stomach. Well, that’s what happens when you grow up: time has got a piece of you.
- And Wendy is a conservative middle-class London-dwelling girl who wants to grow up and have children and have a life and who accepts her mortality and she accepts her maturity.
- And so, Peter Pan has to be content himself with Tinker Bell, who even does not exist. She is like… a Fairy of Porn. She does not exist! She is a substitute for a real thing.
The best way to teach critical thinking is to teach how to write. If you can think, speak and write you are absolutely deadly. Nothing can get in your way. That’s why you learn how to write.
